In the term project Pop-Up Science! master students of the departments Interactive Media and Spatial Strategies at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts develop concepts for the visualization of health topics in unusual places during the summer term 2022. Thus, they will design pop-up stores for KielSCN in interdisciplinary teams as scientific exhibitions in small spaces.
With the project approval in summer 2021, the starting signal was given for the new Center for Science Communication Research in Kiel. On December 1, the Kiel Science Communication Network (KielSCN) now officially started its work.
Sharing scientific findings with the public in an understandable and effective way – that’s what the new Center for Science Communication Research in Kiel aims to explore. To do so, the players involved are relying on an interdisciplinary network that brings together the specialist expertise from three institutions.
